The Lost City Machu Picchu

At Peru, we can find this wonders of the world. Machu Picchu is a lost city built in the 15th century for the Incan Emperor Pachacutec in the clouds on the mountain known as Machu Picchu (old mountain). This exceptional site settles halfway up the Andes Plateau and is in the middle of Amazon jungle. Believed to be abandoned by the Incas due smallpox outbreak, it was rediscovered by American archeologist Hiram Bingham in 1911 where it looks like a complete ghost town with the stones intact still.
