The Pyramids at Giza

The Pyramids at Giza
The Pyramids of Giza, the oldest and only Ancient Wonder still standing with undoubted art and design perfection. Made from more than 5 million limestone blocks which fits in like a glove with no miscalculated edges, this Great Pyramid, about 438 feet high took Egyptians 20 years to complete and served as the tomb for the Egyptian Pharoah Khufu. For ancient Egyptian necropolis, it is ‘City of the dead’. Meant to represent the link between heaven and earth for the Egyptians; thus its architectural rules went beyond the humanity, it is for eternity.
